  • Consult with your healthcare provider regarding your health status to confirm that you are fit for sexual activity. If you experience chest pain, dizziness, or nausea during sexual intercourse, seek immediate medical assistance.

  • A prolonged erection (priapism) that lasts longer than 4 hours. If this occurs, seek medical attention immediately, as untreated priapism can result in permanent damage to the penis.
  • Sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes. This may indicate a serious eye condition known as non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION). If you experience any sudden vision loss, discontinue use of  and contact your healthcare provider without delay.
  • Sudden decrease in hearing or hearing loss. Some individuals may also experience tinnitus (ringing in the ears) or dizziness. If you encounter these symptoms, stop taking  and reach out to a physician immediately.
Prior to using , it is necessary to inform your healthcare expert if you:
  • Have a history of heart issues, including heart attack, arrhythmia, angina, chest pain, aortic valve stenosis, or heart failure, or if you have undergone heart surgery in the past six months.
  • Suffer from pulmonary hypertension.
  • Have experienced a stroke.
  • Have uncontrolled high blood pressure or low blood pressure.
  • Possess a deformed penile structure.
  • Have experienced an erection lasting longer than four hours.
  • Have blood cell disorders such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, or leukemia.
  • Are diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, a rare hereditary eye condition.
  • Have previously experienced significant vision loss, including a condition known as NAION.
  • Have any bleeding disorders.
  • Have a history of stomach ulcers.
  • Have liver-related issues.
  • Have kidney problems or are undergoing dialysis.
  • Have any other medical conditions.

Additionally, please disclose all medications you are currently taking, including both prescription and over-the-counter drugs, as well as vitamins and herbal supplements, to your healthcare provider.

The may influence the efficacy of other medications, and conversely, other medications may impact the effectiveness of the , potentially leading to side effects. It is particularly important to inform your healthcare provider if you are taking any of the following:

  • Medications known as nitrates
  • Guanylate cyclase stimulators, (riociguat/vericiguat)
  • Alpha-blockers, including (terazosin HCl),  (tamsulosin HCl), (doxazosin mesylate), (prazosin HCl), (alfuzosin HCl), (dutasteride and tamsulosin HCl), (silodosin). These alpha-blockers are often prescribed for prostate issues or hypertension. In some individuals, combining the I-pill with alpha-blockers may result in a decrease in blood pressure or fainting.
  • HIV protease inhibitors, such as ritonavir, indinavir sulfate, saquinavir, or atazanavir sulfate.
  • Certain oral antifungal medications, including ketoconazole and itraconazole.
  • Some antibiotics, such as clarithromycin, telithromycin, or erythromycin
  • Other medications used to manage high blood pressure
  • Additional treatments for erectile dysfunction (ED)
